INNOVATIONS
Innovations are crucial for a long-term and sustainable growth of the economy. The vision of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic (MoE SR) is based on the Strategy of Research and Innovations for Smart Specialisation of the Slovak Republic (RIS3). Its aim is to contribute to a structural change of the Slovak economy towards growth based on increased innovation ability.

One of strategic aims of MoE SR is to deepen the integration and anchoring key industrial fields and increasing value added through cooperation of local supply chains. Important is also the origin and development of innovation centres and groupings where companies or institutions dealing with research and education cooperate together and thus increase the competitiveness of the whole economy.
