Peter Švec was appointed as the State Secretary on September 28th, 2022. Prior to his political career he worked at various managerial positions at multinational companies, namely Stellantis Slovakia, Heineken Slovensko and Slovenská sporiteľňa. He also served as a spokesperson for the Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic.
Additionally, he has been also serving in high positions at several organisations. As a chairman at Slovak Association for Branded Products and Slovak Spokespersons' Association and from 2017 – 2020 he was Secretary-General at Industrial Innovation Cluster.
Mr. Švec speaks English and French and his main expertise is business, marketing and economy, as he holds a degree in Business Management from the Economic University in Bratislava.
